We're thrilled about our collaboration with the lead exhibition design team facts and fiction and the German Pavilion Consortium for Expo Osaka 2025. As a collaborative partner, we take pride in supporting the German Pavilion Consortium to create three spectacular immersive experiences for the German Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025, titled “Wa! Germany” with a central focus on the theme of circularity. This thematic exploration aligns with the Expo's overarching theme, "Designing Future Society for Our Lives", serving as a dynamic space, providing a platform for testing new systems and technologies, fostering innovation, and paving the way for a sustainable society.
Utilizing circular materials wherever possible, considering the reuse of all parts from the outset, and avoiding non-reversible material connections are integral aspects of the German Pavilion's design. Visitors to the exhibition will embark on an emotional and multi-sensory journey, discovering tangible visions of life in a circular society. The exhibition has been meticulously developed as a sequence of immersive spatial experiences, with the pathways following the leitmotif of the cycle.
At its core, Expo Osaka 2025 embodies the harmony between the environment and humanity, merging the circular cosmos, technosphere, and biosphere seamlessly. As visitors journey through the pavilion, they are accompanied by small guides inspired by Kawaii: "The Circulars". These mascots appear in various forms, primarily as speaking companions, introducing pavilion content and explaining the principles of a circular economy in German, Japanese, and English. Led by the Circulars, the circular exhibition features three immersive rooms, for which we contributed the media content as a partner of the German Pavilion Consortium.
“Circular Living” - Design the future city playfully with the AI Dream Machine, interacting with visitors:
“Circular Economy” - Step into a universe of circularity, experiencing a 360-degree narrative of sustainable practices:
Lastly, “Circular Me” empowers visitors with the belief that they too can make a difference:
We are eagerly anticipating your exploration of these immersive rooms!
